Nintendo is collaborating with NEC, Hitachi and Panasonic on a Wii Fit Check Channel. This channel will be available exclusively for the leading electronics companies of Japan and will be launched in April. It is still debated whether Wii Fit can work on real health benefit plans. However, these Japanese companies are ready to indulge in corporate fitness plans making the facility available for their employees.

The Wii Fit Check Channel will allow the employees of these companies to upload their fitness data on an online server. This data will be send to health-care personnel who will comment on their fitness level. These personnel will also tell the employees how to remain fit and maintain their fitness level. The service is now available only to the employees on NEC, Hitachi and Panasonic but Nintendo hopes to open the service on a broader range for the Japanese audience.
